Not too long ago we witnessed a small but huge act of generosity and kindness when a few people decided to live out their faith by bringing enough food to church one Sunday morning to restock the empty pantry of a local food bank. We’re going to do it again this week, Sunday July 1st 2012. You can make a difference in someone’s life. Watch what happens.
Ten days ago each kid got a mustard seed as they learned about faith in their Sunday School class. A 5 yr old brought his seed up on the stage to show me. He dropped it and we couldn’t find it. Decided to look again today…and found it.
Pop quiz: “Wild Bill” Wichkowski, Phil Harris, Jonathan Hillstrand, Keith Colburn. Recognize any of these names? They’re all famous. Chances are you don’t recognize them…but you may have seen them. Those guys catch crabs…a lot of crabs. They are the stars of a wildly popular cable show called “The Deadliest Catch.” I’ve reluctantly become a fan. Why is it that I find equal excitement in both the size of king crabs and in the possibility of someone going overboard? My take? Th

Hey Friends, I hope your week is going great. Sorry I didn’t get to send out an email last week. I had every intent on sending one from Haiti, but things seemed to stay so busy, even from the first minute we touched the ground in Port-au-Prince. More on this later. Yesterday I was sitting at my computer, and grateful for a few keys in front of me. For instance, a “refresh” key. Wouldn’t it be nice to be able to press a button and feel refreshed? How about an “escape” button?
